Class Description

The EWP Yoga Class is a fifty-minute class that meets twice a week.  The class is designed to instruct you on how to perform specific postures and breathing methods to improve your strength, balance, flexibility, body awareness, focus and relaxation.

About the Instructor

Alba began to be part of the CSUF campus in 2007 as personal trainer and group exercise instructor for the Student Recreation Center where she continues to provide students and staff a path to a healthier living. She became a part-time faculty for the Kinesiology Department in 2012, teaching several sections of cardio kickboxing and aerobic exercise/ weight control class.      It was her passion of the human movement, and body/ mind functional harmony that motivated her to teach and share her knowledge of these to others. Technique, balance and stability are her foundation and teaching approach to improve people’s daily performance and functionality. She holds a Master status 5th  degree black belt in Moo Yea Do (Korean discipline), Strong by Zumba instructor certification, 500 hour Yoga Teacher certification through Anahata Yoga and 1000+ hours of massage training (Certification and State Licensed) which through her 20 years of experience she has provided fast recovery, rehab and performance enhancement to athletes and adults of different ages.      She enjoys family time, singing, painting and playing piano when she is not teaching or massaging.

Enrolling in the Class

To enroll in the class, please email  employeewellness@fullerton.edu  for a copy of the Yoga Registration Form,  register online , or by attending your first session with Alba. You may bring your form and payment to your first class meeting.
